No. Rising water lifts the flap and springs lock it in place. It also works during a power outage and when nobody is on site.
Yes. The flap sits flush in the floor. TÜV tested it with 200,000 forklift crossings. The certified wheel load is 3.25 t.
Widths from 0.7 to 45 m (2.3 to 148 ft), heights up to 2.40 m (7.9 ft). Larger sizes on request.
The water drains, the flap comes down and you reset it by hand. No tools and no parts to replace.
A short visual check, a clean tray and a function test twice a year. Springs are replaced after ten years at the latest.
